Since joining Croix Wealth Management in 2013, Melissa’s dedication to empowering clients in achieving financial freedom has grown deeply. While she enjoys working with a diverse range of clients, she takes pride in the planning and assistance she provides to women navigating significant life changes. Whether it's coping with the loss of a spouse, going through a divorce, or transitioning careers, Melissa’s goal is to walk alongside clients, ensuring their financial plan reflects their goals and addresses their specific needs and concerns.
Melissa is also wholeheartedly devoted to guiding individuals and families through investment management and financial planning, serving as a trusted ally for those seeking ongoing support in growing and managing their wealth.
In addition to being a financial advisor, Melissa is also a Retirement Income Certified Professional, through the American College of Financial Services. She has several years of experience working with business’ retirement plans and employee retirement education. She is also licensed in life, health, annuity and property and casualty insurance.
Melissa is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Florida. She thrives on giving back to her community and loves volunteering every chance she gets. She is the former President of the Wharton County A&M Club, is a Rotarian and has served as a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteer for 8 years. She is also the Chair for the newly founded 100+Women Who Care Wharton County where she has a passion to assist charities and bring women together to give back to the greater good of their communities. Melissa also volunteers with the Sesame Club of El Campo where she enjoys reading to children in the community during the school year and leads helping select books for every elementary child to receive twice a year in school.
She and her husband Kelly have two children, and they remain involved in their children’s many 4-H and sport related activities.
